Christmas Wrapping the Eco Way

It's a simple idea really. Maybe I too could have come up with. Instead of throwing away remnant cloth, use it to wrap gifts.

Take cloth, wrap around gift, tie cloth ends together and viola! Gift is wrapped and has an added touch of elegance and uniqueness.

Check out this website for other great recycling tips, facts and cool info. Recycle Now.

Great UK based website! I had no idea you could recyle hearing aids and other common household items like TVs, garden wastes and engine oil.!

yes! The Japanese have been doing it forever. It's called furoshiki. You can see ideas here: http://furoshiki.com/home.php or learn more about it in general here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furoshiki

What about the Target/Walmart/Sears bag the item came home with? :)

Q,
I like how you're thinking economically!
However, the world needs to stop producing plastic bags!!! They end up inconveniently in our rivers, lakes, oceans and harm the environment! Not to mention, they take like 50 million years to biodegrade and disrupt the natural beauty of any landscape.

I know. I see them all along WhiteRockCreek trail every time I run it.
